Lake Glenville
1470 Acre Lake near Cashiers, North Carolina

Although it is one of the smaller lakes in the area it is quite productive.  However, it has recently become a changing fishery. Walleye and Smallmouth used to be kings, but with the introduction of the Blueback Herring, an invasive, the Largemouth Bass gets the nod now. When lake levels are kept up the lake becomes a more bank oriented cover fishery, as opposed to the search for schools in the often lowered levels during winter months.  The lake does still have some good Trout and Crappie action, with great Bream fishing in the warmer months
